Break'n the Law...

Ok, so this session was one to remember. I hooked up with Sam Summerlin to take his Senior shots recently. Sam's a great guy and we had a good time walking around his parent's 15+ acre homestead in Fortville, IN. His dad even brought out this cool old car he had built and blew the leaves away for the car (and Sam I assume:).

Anyhow, after we got our fill of the natural shots we headed downtown and found some great places. In fact there is a train track that runs through town which is always worth shooting! We spent about 15-20 minutes walking the rails until someone called the POLICE on us! The officer said he could have taken us to jail for trespassing on private property! Sam, his mom and I were all quite shocked to say the least!!!

Thanks to Sam and Donna for breaking the law with me!

Thanks for looking :)

Summer Lovin'

So, I haven't had a chance to post Mike and Julie's wedding. As I was showing some samples to a new client this weekend I was reminded how beautiful Mike and Julie's wedding was. And on top of that the day could not have been better. If Jese and I could get married again we would so have it outdoors!

Thanks Mike and Julie for the memories!!! You both are loved! I wish I could post them all, but for the sake of web space... here are just a few.

Abby's Senior Session

Abby was so much fun to work with! She insisted on going down the alleys of downtown Indianapolis. From the images you wouldn't have known it, but the weather was oh so chilly. She braved the elements like a true model and we ended up with some gorgeous shots.

This is what I love about location photography...

Thanks for looking! :)

It's about time!

I'm so happy to have the new blog up and running! Now I can finally get to posting all the recent events I've had the opportunity to shoot. It's been quite a busy fall and winter so far. Over the next few days and weeks I'll be posting weddings, seniors, newborns and family sessions from the last month or so. At least that'll keep me busy for the next few weeks!!!

So, grab a cup of hot chocolate (I know my wife will :) and enjoy the smiles, the laughs and the real life moments.

Yesterday I had so much fun with the Curry family. Although this time it was just for the kids, Katie and Kaleb were so much fun to chase around. At this age I think I get more of a work out than they do!

She's sooo cute!

He's up to something I can just tell...

Such a good model!

This one was beautiful... Kaleb just had to open and shut the door himself.
